sociological cinema

I decided to spent a bit of time having a look at this site,  reading about and watching some of the videos that are linked and tagged very effectively.  I want to use more AV in my teaching, but so rarely have the time to find appropriate material (being sessional, all too often I don’t even know what I’ll be teaching until the week or so before, and it is always changing).

I had forgotten about this site so am sharing it here to remind myself and others!  I found quite a number of useful (and often very entertaining) clips relating to one of my favourite subjects,  the politics of representation, and associated topics such as race/ethnicity, multiculturalism and prejudice/discrimination.  There are many more covering a broad range of well tagged topics, a great resource.
