The Vice Chancellor’s Fellowship scheme in the Faculty of Education at QUT this year will focus on high-quality applicants whose research falls under the research priority of Children, Youth and Risk.

The Vice Chancellor’s Fellowship scheme is focused on attracting researchers who have built a strong research track record over the past few years.  It pays full salary for 3 years, with an expectation that the successful fellow would apply for a substantial external grant/fellowship (eg Future Fellowship, DECRA) during the period of the fellowship.

The fellowships can be awarded at either the  Fellow (Level B) or Senior Fellow (Level C) level and each will receive a one-off $20,000 research support grant. The scheme will be advertised 13th of August and close end of September. Please see the following site for more information about these Fellowships after the 13th August (site still to be updated with 2014 information):

If you know of any potential applicant, they are welcome to contact our
Acting Assistant Dean (Research) Professor Jo Lunn Brownlee, (j.lunn@qut.edu.au) She would be very happy to provide more information about the scheme.
